However, the company has not shared any images of the tracking device yet. OPPO also demonstrated Zero-Power Tag’s capabilities in item identification and positioning, and data collection from temperature sensors 一 both powered by RF energy. The interesting thing here is that the OPPO Zero Power Tag comes can operate battery-free, which will be its biggest advantage over the other rivals. The tag harvests radio waves from the surrounding area to power its own functionality and communicate battery-free in order to meet the diverse needs of IoT in the coming 6G era, which is at least a couple of years from now. The tag uses key technologies such as RF signal harvesting, backscattering, and low-power computing.
